How to Grow Mushrooms

In this article I will be discussing how to grow mushrooms. This is not a step by step guide, but rather a discussion of some of the different methods that have been used to grow mushrooms. The best method for you will depend on your experience and what type of mushrooms you are trying to grow. If you are new to growing mushrooms then I would recommend using one of the guides that are available online. You can find them in the link below.

If you want to grow mushrooms in a fruiting chamber then you will need to use a fruiting chamber. A fruiting chamber is a device that has an air pump and a filter that is placed inside of it. The air pump forces air into the chamber and the filter removes any debris that might be floating around in the air. The air that is pumped into the chamber is also forced through the mushroom trays which will allow the mushrooms to grow in the fruiting chamber.

If you want a more hands on approach then you can try growing mushrooms in a PF Tek. A PF Tek is a plastic bag that is filled with substrate. The substrate is usually compost or sawdust. The substrate is placed into the bag and then covered with a sheet of newspaper. The newspaper is then folded over so that it is secured in place. Once the substrate is secure in the bag then the bag is placed into a container of water. This water is then changed every week or two. The substrate is kept wet until the mushrooms begin to form. When the mushrooms are ready to be harvested they are removed from the substrate and put into a container of water to help clean them off.

If you want something that is a little more hands off then you can use the Pf Tek Shroomery. This is a plastic bag that is used to grow mushrooms. It comes with a small air pump and a filter that are attached to the top of the bag. The air pump forces air through the bag and the filter removes any debris from the air. The substrate is placed in the bag and then covered with the newspaper. The newspaper is then sealed in place with the elastic bands. The substrate is kept moist until the mushrooms begin to form.
